Richard Marin
Richard Marin is the Senior Partner and directs the firm's litigation practice. He is a seasoned trial and appellate attorney with over thirty-five years of experience. Mr. Marin exerts unparalleled efforts to prepare the best case for his clients. As a result, he has developed a reputation for excellence as a trial attorney among clients and colleagues. Clients have entrusted Mr. Marin with their high-risk litigations. Mr. Marin's vast trial experience includes toxic torts, products liability, claims against professionals, representation of Boards against claims of breaches of fiduciary duty, complex commercial matters and contracts.
Mr. Marin manages complex litigations in areas including environmental pollution, and asbestos exposure and coordinates efforts with other firms on a nationwide basis to ensure the client's strategies are implemented.

- Successful defense of a party to a $20 million dollar retaining wall collapse case along major highway in upper Manhattan.
- Successful mediation of claims against defendant engineer in a case involving $6 million dollar damage claim.
- Defense verdict in products liability case reported in New York Law Journal as a Top Defense Verdict of the year.
- Successfully enforced a restrictive covenant in an employment agreement and collected significant money damages on behalf of the client.
- Successfully defended to settlement a cooperative accused of discriminating against mentally disabled individuals seeking a group home.
- Successfully defended a cooperative through trial against a $16 million claim by the owner of a penthouse unit seeking ownership of a terrace.
- Successfully defended a manufacturer of dental products in an asbestos case resulting in a favorable settlement after several weeks of trial.
- Successfully obtained a defense verdict in the Eastern District of New York on behalf of a multi-million dollar industrial tool distributor/manufacturer in a products liability case alleging a failure to warn on a machine that was sold without warning stickers on it.
- Obtained summary judgment on behalf of its client, a prestigious country club, dismissing the plaintiffs' complaint alleging discrimination in its membership policies.
- Successfully obtained a defense verdict for its client, an international security company, one of whose officers was accused of assaulting a female visitor.
