Cantor, Epstein was a nine person team of litigators with a coop/condo and general commercial litigation practice, which took pride in its record of successful results in vindicating the rights of its clients in a wide range of cases concerning everything from breach of fiduciary duty claims, board elections, housing discrimination claims, reasonable accommodations, employment discrimination, easements, adverse possession, sponsor defaults, accounts receivable lending agreements, statute of frauds, defamation, slander and foreclosures.

Scott is skilled at both the trial and appellate levels, and also has wide experience in many other forums including the New York State Divisions of Human Rights, The New York City Commission of Human Rights, and the EEOC, as well as practicing before all recognized arbitration and mediation forums.

Scott began his litigation career as a law clerk to a Civil Court Judge. Then, after trying cases for a general liability defense firm, he became a litigation partner at a medium-sized boutique firm recognized for their active representation of real estate entities, cooperatives, condominiums, and banking institutions. Although Scott went on to practice cooperative and condominium law and commercial litigation when he founded Cantor, Epstein, he maintained his previous civil litigation practice.
